2019 saw us launch the Purdey Young Shots Courses. The day long course for 9-16 year olds, gives an introduction to the essentials of shooting, safety and etiquette. They have proved to be hugely popular, so we are delighted to announce the following dates for 2020:
- Wednesday 8th April
- Monday 20th July
- Tuesday 22nd October
- Tuesday 22nd December
On the day, the Young Shots are grouped by age and with the tuition of our experienced instructors learn all about shotgun and air rifle shooting. Each day, which includes breakfast rolls, lunch and afternoon tea, ends back in our Gallery for the presentation of certificates and Purdey Goodie Bags.
Everybody who has taken part in a Young Shots session between October 2019 and August 2020 is also invited to take part in the Purdey Young Shots Challenge competition, which will be held on Monday 24th August.
