Ventosilla

Ventosilla is one of the most famous Spanish shoots and its reputation is rightly earned. Home to the first ever driven partridge shoot in Spain held in 1884, it does not get more traditional than this. The estate has 60 varying drives covering many thousands of acres.

Las Golondrinas

Las Golondrinas de Santa Cristina has been in the family of Fernando Díaz de Bustamanta since the early 14th Century, where their fore-fathers, the Count of Adanero and Marques de Castroserna would have historically arranged their hunts. La Nava

Located south of Madrid, deep in La Mancha countryside, La Nava is perhaps the most highly regarded shoot in Spain. On approaching up the drive, the first views of the lodge are spectacular with towering views overlooking the 4900 hectares which make up the shoot. Los Melonares

Los Melonares is the most like a UK shoot with thicker vegetation and narrower valleys. The shooting is excellent and one cannot help but feel at home at the wonderful house with its tree-lined courtyards, outside sitting areas and display of trophies from times gone by. The family are hands on beginning with your hostess Pachi, a keen shot herself and a bundle of energy for whom nothing is too much trouble. Jerónimo is the estate’s manager, charming and relaxed.
