Jonathan Irby – Managing Director
Jonathan has worked in the shooting world for over 20 years, most recently as Head of Sales for Purdey. He grew up in Anglesey but now lives in Hampshire and is one of the judges for The Purdey Awards for Game & Conservation. An occasional contributor of articles to the shooting press, he is a passionate advocate for shooting.

Clothing item I couldn’t live without: (shooting related) Hard to pick but it would be between my favourite tweed cap and my green Purdey shooting shirts

Favourite way to spend a Sunday: In summer; watching our two sons play cricket. In winter; a good pub lunch.

My last meal would be served in a lunch hut on a particular Grouse moor, at the end of a day spent with family and friends. It would start with Dublin Bay Prawns, then roast Grouse, finishing with vanilla ice cream. Then a long walk back down the hill with everybody and my dog Yogi!
