Waitrose - Saturday morning , looking forward to seeing Wales versus Ireland later in the day !!! Return to see a fellow customer has decided to re arrange our car door … and wing … and worst still has disappeared .!!
Not an ideal start to a day….. but what a glorious end !!!
But given car insurance, all will be sorted and no one hurt.
Now here’s a question ….. what insurance do you have place for you and your kit when shooting ? Many believe household insurance will cover them.... may I suggest you get clarity ??
Organisations seemingly all offer“insurance” for members , but again nearly all have exclusions , conditions and limitations .
New to the market are schemes which offer effectively a “one stop shop” with cover not only providing for accidents, but also loss of days shooting if affected by bad weather or even insolvency of the operators.
Many of you will indeed will be members of BASC and they have been the providers of insurance for over 30 years…but again its worth checking the small print.
As we all know insurance is a necessary evil, but for your own piece of mind, and those around you… get It sorted before the start of the season !!
For BASC members , you will no doubt be aware that the Council, that influences all the on going decisons of BASC, is currently inviting votes for several new Council members, and I would urge you to view the bio’s of Jonathan Davis and Ian Coghill. Both real practitioners and great advocates for our sport.
Look forward to seeing you soon and do come and shoot the new Handicap course … £49 and great fun .
