Since the Purdey Sporting Agency was established more than 30 years ago, we have built a reputation for organising bespoke trips to more than 70 prestigious estates around the world – giving you exclusive access to places that are often closed to the public. You aren’t simply on a peg that somebody else shot from the previous week, you are standing behind a patch of scrub somewhere to take on partridges that most people never get to see.
While grouse, pheasant and partridge are our bread and butter in the UK, there’s exciting range around the world – and often more reliable weather than our beloved British conditions. The quality of the sport on Purdey trips goes without saying, and this quality extends to the food, the wine and the service too. We also stay in contact with the estates throughout the year, to ensure that the game is plentiful on the ground.
Every trip is hosted by a member of our experienced team. We ensure all permits, licences and legal documentation are inplace and offer comprehensive adverse weather cover and third-party liability insurance at preferential rates. We can also arrange gun hire and cartridges, gun storage and transportation, in-field instruction, transport (including helicopters / private aircraft), activities for non-shooting guests, accommodation, and private tuition at our shooting grounds before the trip to brush up on your technique. Nothing is too much trouble and we take care of everything, presenting you with your itinerary and details ahead of time, so it’s all as easy and enjoyable as possible.
The Purdey Sporting Agency has crossed the world multiple times to hand-pick the very best sporting estates. We hope you can join us in Spain (1st September - 1st May) for redlegged partridge; Argentina (all year round) for doves; and South Africa (1st April - 31st July) for rock pigeon, wild duck, goose and many other species, including upland birds like francolin, guineafowl and snipe.
