We would be delighted to welcome your Young Shots to what promises to be both a fun and educational day, during the October half-term holiday.
The itinerary for the day is planned to be as follows, but may be subject to changes:
9.00am – Arrival and Registration
9.30am – Welcome and introduction to the day
9.45am – Safe handling and use of a shotgun
10.15am – Clay Shooting Tuition
11.00am – Fire Brigade talk on fire safety in the countryside, plus a chance to look over the fire engine.
12.00am – Preparing pigeons for cooking – interactive demonstration
12.30pm – Cooking demonstration using the prepared pigeon
1.00pm – Lunch, to include the opportunity to try the pigeon .
1.45pm - Introduction to air gun shooting
2.30pm – Clay shooting tuition, followed by friendly competition
3.45pm – Gun cleaning demo – each to clean their own gun under the supervision of our instructors
4.15pm – Return to Lodge for presentation of certificates
4.30pm - End
