Steve Turner - Shooting Instructor Since joining the team at the RB in 2003, Steve has taught many hundreds of clients to shoot, in private lessons and on corporate and charity events. When not at the School, his is a family man with 3 young children, who grew up shooting locally with his father on many of the local estates, as well as entering clay competitions, so has a wide breadth of experience to share with you.
  • Clothing items I couldn’t live without: The lightweight Schöffel Ketton Jacket  is easily one of the most-used things in my wardrobe - it goes on easily over thinner layers, so is perfect to have on standby for damp, drizzly and windy days and packs away when not in use, so doesn't take up too much space. As a shooting instructor, safety is of paramount importance when we are out in the RB valley or in the field with clients, which is why I am so pleased with my Pilla shooting glasses. Not only do they give me strong protection from flying debris such as bits of clay, but the various lenses you can choose from mean you always have crystal clear vision, whatever the weather.
  • Favourite way to spend a Sunday: My best Sundays are spent with my family - a morning at home, then a cricket match on the village green, followed by a barbeque in the garden - nice and chilled!
  • My last meal: A Baked Camembert, followed by home-made Fish Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding - total comfort food.
