Caesar Guerini

Ever Growing Their Market Share.

An innovative company that keeps evolving to keep up with the times and challenge the norms.

It was back in 2007, when working at William Evans,  that I travelled to Val Trompia in Gardone, Italy to meet the team at Caesar Guerini.  I was on a mission to discuss the design and build of a new model of Over & Under that would meet the demands of clients moving from Side-by-Sides to Over & Unders.  It was that visit lead to the creation of the St. James model. Designed and finished to look and handle like a English gun it was a stunning gun and I was lucky enough to shoot a 20 Bore with 30” barrels for many years.  I loved it, and was a huge fan of the handling of the long barrelled smaller bore.

At the time of my visit, I remember being very impressed by the brothers Giorgio and Antonio (one having worked at Beretta, the other at Rizzini) who had started the business a mere seven years prior.  Their mission was not to reinvent the wheel but to combine the best and most reliable mechanics with outstanding handling and faultless wood to metal fit.  Their focus remains unchanged today.

Fast forward to last week, when I met with their newest member of the team and winner of the British Open (with a Guerini),  Matt Panter.   He came down with some of the latest models and gave us an insight into the new and innovative designs. It is clear that the company has taken great strides since 2007 and it now offers an extensive range of both Game and Clay guns.  One thing is for sure, Caesar Guerini, should be on everyone’s list to look at when considering a new over and under.  Not only are they wonderful guns but they also come with a 10 year mechanical warranty and their after sales service is very good. Not least as their UK based Company Director is fully technically trained meaning their support is outstanding.

Based on my love of these guns and the depth and quality of their range, we are increasing our stock holding of Caesar Guerinis and I look forward to having them on display in the Gun Room.  To learn more about these or any other guns, please do contact the Gun Room team or visit https://www.caesargueriniuk.com/
