Made to Measure Russia Leather Belt
The leather used to make this wallet was discovered on the shipwreck of the Metta Catherina, a Russian ship that sank off the Cornish coast in 1786. Perfectly preserved underwater, it is a beautiful example of the Russian tanning technique that could never be replicated anywhere else and is lost to this day.
Each belt is made to order based on your own measurements. The inside is lined in Audley Red leather, hand stitched in linen thread and finished with a Silver Gilt hallmarked buckle. Each belt takes 2-3 weeks to make. Once you place your order, we will contact you to discuss your requirements.
