Russia Leather KEYRING
The story of 'Russia' leather is quite remarkable and told in full elsewhere on our site. The hide used to create this keyring was tanned in 1786 somewhere near St Petersburg, lost on a freighter that sank near Plymouth and recovered by salvage experts in the 1970s before being brought back to life by modern day English leather workers. It's of an extremely high quality and an unusual grain that is simply impossible to replicate today. Stitched completely by hand in Gloucestershire.
