A 4½" steel spear point blade makes this an ideal all-purpose knife for piercing, caping and filleting your quarry. The blade's Damascene steel is famous for its strength and sharpness and has been the hunters favoured steel for centuries. Only after the metal has been treated and polished do the unique mottled patterns reveal themselves. The handle is made from Walnut exclusive to Purdey – the same wood used to make gun stocks. It is secured to the blade with four brass rivets and features a hole for a leather lanyard.
